I have a question regarding one part of it. It says

'The 5%-10% of children who develop chronic ITP tend to be older, are more often female, and usually present with a higher platelet count.'

I found this part very interesting as my daughter is nearly 5, she was diagnosed about 1 1/2 years ago but has obviously had it for nearly 3 years, if not longer. Her count has always been under 20. As I have written in the childrens section, neither my daughters haematolgist or myself and convinced that it is ITP she has and I was wondering if there anyone else here who has a YOUNG child with chronic ITP with very low counts?
