Free Glutten? was created by thuathien
I like to eat Burritos and Veggie Work at Del Taco. My concern is that the flour pieces wrap around them are free glutten or not. Thank you for your help.

I would ask the people at Del Taco.

Did a 2-minute Google search and saw a lot of links with answers, some more complete than others. According to a person who asked Del Taco directly ( www.deltaco.com ), here is their list of gluten-free items used in their menu:
Plain hamburger patty
Cheddar cheese
Spicy Jack Cheese
Rice
Red Sauce
Green Sauce
Taco Shells
Tortilla Shells
Lettuce Tomato Onion
Vanilla Shake.
The ground beef seasoning HAS GLUTEN.
And they warn that the environment does process gluten foods, so nothing is guaranteed."

They do not elaborate on whether 'tortilla shells' are flour or corn, fried or a burrito wrapping.
It appears you'd be good eating a taco shell, some cheese, with sauce, and drinking a vanilla shake.
