I visited a hematologist in Jan. and he suggested that I wear a medic alert bracelet. He said because of not having a spleen more than the ITP. I recently spoke with an EMT and he thought it would be a good idea. Does anyone have one of these? Where can I get one that looks a little more presentable and a little less medical

I have a pretty rad medical bracelet, it's called UTag. I don't think they're sold in America; my boyfriend got it online for me because I was afraid to ride on his motorcycle with him. It has a USB on it that swings out, so it can be plugged into the ambulance/hospital computer and all my medical info pops up. I also wear it in the car and at work when I know my count is low. The bracelet itself is nylon I think with a Velcro tab.
