I'm kind of new to this and wonder what "the administrator has denied public access" means. Is this some kind of censorship?

It may be something to do with some sales adverts that went on a while ago

You will only see that if you are a Guest or if you are a member but have not logged on yet. What it means is - you can't respond to a thread/post and you can't start one if you are a guest or a member who has not logged in.

Log in and you don't see it [at least I don't]
