another OMG moment was created by michel
Last months counts = 100
Today's new counts = 160

I've had a cold for 5 days and expected my counts to fall. What a surprise to see that they actually went up so quickly even while I was sick. :cheer: :woohoo:
so much for avoiding this website.

That's fantastic Michel! I have to ask - have you been doing anything different?

gisele, no I haven't been doing anything different. You might recall I drank a high vegetable/fruit juice two months ago. And this might have been a simple coincedence, but following my two week regemine, my counts went from 80 to 100. Last month I did not drink that juice, as an experiment, and my counts went from 100 to 160. Therefore I can't attribute positive results to that juice. If anything I would say that is about the only difference. I've also had a cold for over a week, so I expected lower counts. My best guess is that I've been easier on my body due to the rain or lack of time or shorter days and I'm not physically over exerting myself (hiking 12 miles a week) and I'm getting more rest (partially due to the cold medication) and lastly maybe ITP ran its course (20 months later...). I wish everyone's ITP course would get the message. =)
