I am glad you took your advice - ventilators and body bags really aren't very nice ;)

I too had Pfizer and had no trouble with even the 2nd injection except for being real tired.
Your count is doing great & with no treatment - congrats!!

Keep us posted on how you are doing!

Did anyone here get the J&J vaccine yet? I can't wait to get my vaccine since its now open to the public. I am just confused on which vaccine to go for, pfizer, moderna or J&J and potentially the one that wouldn't cause drop in platelets? but I guess it dosent matter and all the 3 are good I think.

Georgia will give you a choice of which vaccine you want? Personally I'd take whatever I could get! And that is what I did - at the time it was Moderna or Pfizer - I was offered Pfizer & there was no way I was going to say nope, I'll wait for Moderna. I had no side effects from the vaccine with either injection and I had no symptoms my counts was down.

Thanks! I think I will go with whatever is available. Some of the places near my house are giving pfizer, some moderna, and some j&j. So there are options. Its open to the general public now. I will go ahead with whatever is there as there is no point worrying too much about it. :) I think I will get a count before and after, just to be sure.

Let us know how things go!
I had a count a couple weeks before not knowing that I was going to get the email to set up an appointment for the vaccine - decided I'd go ahead and get a count a week or 2 after the 2nd injection then since I was having no symptoms or "a feeling" that my count had dropped I didn't do it. Good luck!!
