Meredith, if your (Medicare) Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) covers Doptelet then Doptelet would work similar to Promacta. That is, it might be full or close to full price the first month or two, then one would pay much less for subsequent months. Then start over at full price at the beginning of each calendar year.

When it comes to 'specialty drugs' and PDP's, Google is your friend.
