Does anyone have experience taking Papaya Leaf Extract to increase platelet count? How about any other foods or supplements?
If so, how significant an effect have ou seen in your count?
Thanks

This would be found down in the Natural Treatment Section - go there and search.

A few of us in the children's forum have tried it. I think it either helped my son or correlated with his recovery - can't be sure, since I only know his single case. The papaya tj1989 and I both used for our kids is this one: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B005TK5MQI You can read about my son's experience in my thread: pdsa.org/discussion-group/12-newly-diagnosed/30129-petechiae-but-no-bruising-in-3-year-old.html?start=0

I have been taking Papaya Leaf extract (500 mg/day) for about a month and there have been really no change to my counts. Started when counts were 81 they went to 77 and now 75 over the last month.
