New to ITP world was created by AnneMarie
Hi! I was recently diagnosed with ITP this past December. I was at the OBGYN for blood work to begin fertility treatments when I received a call saying that I needed to go see my primary doc immediately. My platelets were 29. It's been a bumpy ride since then- on a high dose of prednisone & now tapering it. I will be starting Rituxan infusions next week & am alittle nervous about it. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello & am glad there's others out there that are dealing with similar situations. It helps me to feel not so alone in this.
