Will Promacta affect male fertility?

I'm 36 years old and have chronic ITP. Since Dec 2013 I've been taking Promacta. The last dosage was 12.5mg, and I stopped medication 3 weeks back. We want to have another child; may I know if Promacta has any adverse effects on male fertility? Will ITP medications/ Promacta hinder us from having a healthy baby?

Before starting Promacta, I was treated with Prednisone, IVIG, Rituximab etc (Aug-Dec 2013). We are trying to find information on effects of these medicines on male fertility and haven't been able to get any definite or satisfactory answers.

Any comments? Anyone here successfully gave birth to healthy babies while husband is on ITP medication, especially Promacta?

As far as the literature goes Promacta has no effect on male fertility.

As for not being able to find definite or satisfactory answer, you will find that usually only the negatives gets reported.

So if many men found and it was proven that Promacta effected their fertility it would be reported and mostly likely easily found, the fact that your searches are turning up blank is mostly likely a sign that so far there have been no reported cases of Promacta effecting male fertility.
