Hi guys happy new year I hope everyone has a platelet filled year! I have had itp for ten years actually eleven this year, I was 17 when diagnosed! Yikes but anyway I just wanted to write a post to all the newly diagnosed don't freak out you can still live a relatively normal life, I have had every treatment a splenectomy, I have also had a stroke due to an overdose of nplate two years ago stay strong everybody you will find your treatment! It sucks so bad at first but you learn to make the best of it! And don't ever let itp define you, always remember it could always be worse! :) happy new year again!
