Hello for the past couple of yes my plts have been running 130,000.
At times my mpv and mcv and hct have been
Low. My dad did have itp and was on dialysis.
IM a type 2 diabetic, only use oral meds to
Control, on minim dose of blood pressure, and
Occasional bouts of gout and arthritis.

Any ideas what's causing the lower plts. I do not
Have a problem with bleeding.

You're platelets are actually quite good. I wouldn't expect you to have any bleeding issues at that count. To get a diagnosis of ITP, you'd need counts that are consistently below 100. Some people just have counts that are a little on the low end of normal; it's usually nothing to worry about unless they drop further. Hopefully, that will not happen!
