sore muscles / hearing an echoing noise

I have been tested by means of a bone marrow biopsy and have ITP. My first treatment was steriods for a couple of months and my last treatment was 4 infusions of Retoxin. Since the last treatment I have been having trouble with my left rear thigh muscles hurting when I sit or stand. After I sit for a few mintues the pain stops and after standing the same. I also hear an echoing noise/sound in my ears after getting up from sitting and after a few mintues it too goes away. Has anyone else experienced this after treatment with Retoxin?
Thanks,
Danny

The thigh muscle pain sounds like steroid withdrawal to me - where are you at with getting off prednisone? I had pain like that for about three months after stopping.

Thanks for the reply Eklein. I stopped taking the prednisone about a month ago. I took it for a couple months. The first month was 110mg per day. After it was seen to not be working the dose was reduced over the last month I took it.

My thigh muscles and neck muscles were the worst from prednisone withdrawal. I hope that's it - it sounds just the same, and it should go away before long.

I think I'm going thru the same thing and have also had the ear noise on and off. Was glad you asked this question and hoping someone would answer about that, too!

Seems like going off the Pred is no easy task.
