My daughter needs help was created by grice1911
She lives in PA and called a number that was supposed to be a helpline. The man in NJ said he didn't have ITP and was sympathetic to her concerns, but could offer no help. Is there an actual support group? Is there a phone number she can call?

There are some local support groups, you can find out more here: www.pdsa.org/join-the-community/local-groups.html but I hadn't heard of any of them running a telephone helpline. I've heard that if you call PDSA ( www.pdsa.org Phone: 1- 87-PLATELET 877-528-3538 (toll free) or 301-770-6636) they will help you find information or resources. Can your daughter access the pdsa website? There is a wealth of information here.

Is there a reason she needs a hotline? She can post here and get fast answers. What's going on?
