..................sorry to be posting this here but know you look in this section.

Are you feeling any of the earthquakes my relatives in Reno are? I'm hearing they could lead to 'the big one'.

Haven't felt any yet. So far all the quakes have been very small...between 1.5-2.7 magnitude and mostly along the Nevada/California border. But if the big one hits I'll have beach front property!!!

Isn't there a song that has something in it about beach front property in Arizona :)

Glad you aren't feeling the quakes - they are scary! We had lots and lots when we lived in Tokyo - and a couple years ago I felt one at 11.30pm that was centered down at the New Mexico border!

I know there are faults all over the place in CA and NV - but I wonder too if fracking is helping this along.

The song is from George Straight...Ocean Front Property in Az.

I don't know if they do any fracking around here, but my family in OK says that's what is being blamed for their earthquakes.

Dan that's it - thanks, even if I can't get the song out of my head now :)

It is amazing the # of quakes my friend in OK is feeling - I would blame the fracking for sure!

Fracking must be bad because we have so many ads on TV here telling us how good it is and we need it and it isn't bad - I go with the old saying "he who protests too much..."

Can't be good if you start pumping water in to push oil out.

Last night there was an ad on TV with a mother and her little child, mother was telling us how good fracking was and how good shale oil is and that she'd never do anything to hurt her State (she was an engineer or the like). We are getting so many of these that's why I know fracking is bad or they wouldn't have to try to convince us it is good.

Exactly. The media is all about mind control. They try to convince us of the opposite of what is true.

I've been looking into this a lot lately. It blows my mind.
