This is just to demonstrate that ITP is not the end of life as we know it......

Dougie just finished a 40km hike with the scouts this weekend. Each team of 2 had to carry tent, food etc with them so they had backpacks of about 25lb each. Its the first time that their scout group had entered a team into the hike, so the boys didn't have much previous knowledge. They had to plot a route, walked to a campsite, camped overnight, including making an evening meal and breakfast then they walked to the finish today. As his legs are covered in petechiae and he has bruises everywhere, I would guess that his count is under 10 again. Dougie said that he had a lot of pain in his feet and legs which I think was caused by his flat feet, but him and his friend finished about half way down (or up) the field.

Really proud of him. :) It just proves that ITP doesn't have to mean being a couch potato.
