Hi Beth,
Yes I do remember you Beth, and Imma gonna keep my fingers crossed that this is it for Brady and ITP will be a distant memory for him too..
Not sure if it was because of Puberty or not, but the year he got make a wish he turned 14 that Dec.
Yeah your right he got the games room/arcade.. it is still the same, minus the hockey table. We had a power outage in the Nov and it never worked after that, so had it refurbished..(about 2 years later, very expensive.
Steven had his last treatment just before they started work on the basement.. for a while his counts bounced around but as he got older he would go out straight from school and not come home till after dinner. If you remember I worked nights so I would only see the kids on the weekends.. He would always say " don't worry mum, I'm fine.." guess it got to the point somewhere along the line I gave up and stopped asking. He is 21yrs now and like any other Canadian male, loves Beer, Hockey and his drums he knows as much about ITP as I do probably more since he is the one who had it. So I trust that if he needs anything he will let me know.
Love, Hugs and Platelets
