Has anyone ever heard of getting hives while on steriods? It lasted 2 1/2 wks. Now he is itchy every day and night and benadryl is the only thing that helps. Any ideas would be great???

no hives but the steriods made my levels drop quickly! I did recently go through a nasty bought of poisen ivy. A friend gave me some salve that is natural that healed it fairly quickly. She gets it on line. THe ingredients are " jewelweed", olive oil, beeswax" Perhaps this would ease his discomfort so he can take the steroid if it is helping him.
