Hey thats brilliant, but where on earth did it come from????? My mum keeps on saying about Dougie, if they could only find out what causes the jumps, they could surely do something to make them permanent.

Hoping all those platelets stay there for Devyn for a good long time!

Hey Ali,

He had a bit of a cold the week befor and sometimes that will make his counts go up but I have had times where a cold will make him crash to low numbers too....hopefully these numbers stay strong for a while!! :) How is Dougie these days?

That makes sense - the only time Dougie got into triple figures was after he had had flu or something that gave him a temperature for a few days. Colds tend to make his count go the other way, although like Devyn, its not always predictable.

Dougs is doing fine. Am guessing 30s because of bruises but no petechiae. He is playing paintball with his class today - it is their end of school treat because they are leaving to go to secondary school at the end of this week.

Just got back from a break to the south of France with my husband to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It was really brilliant, especially cos we left the kids at home with my parents in law in charge! Four days of peace and calm - but not for my parents in law who've now gone home to have a well-deserved rest!!!!
