I usually find that I get really tired, irritable and more emotional when my platelets are lower, the doctors usually tell me being tired doesn't have anything to do with them being low, but i do tend to find they do seem to connect.

Usually when your platelets are low, you get unexplainable bruising (meaning not sure how they did it, they may have just lightly bumped their arms or legs on something and come out with a bruise) and it is common to get tiny red pin prick dots on her skin too, thats petechiae. I usually get lots of brusing and petechiae and nose bleeds as well when mine are low too.

I would say anything is possible. I know even when my counts aren't all that low I feel tired. I mentioned the constant fatigue to my doc and he said it's part of the disease I have. I also discovered that being anemic causes fatigue. Is she anemic?
