I haven't logged in in a few months or so. I'm not even sure who is still around. But if anyone out there still remembers me and Ryan... we're still here.

Ryan (dx 01/2012 age 4.5) is now considered having "chronic ITP" He hovers in the 40's... sometimes dipping as low as 5, sometimes going as high as 60.

But 18 months later and he still has it. Oh well...

Thanks everyone. Ya know, I keep telling myself there are "worse" (I hate that term... maybe more challenging?) conditions out there to live with. We're doing okay managing his ITP. We are *thisclose* to the 1 year anniversary since his last treatment. I know it doesn't mean anything, but its the small things :)

Hi All,
I am glad to see you all, I, too have been off this site although fairly active on the fb site. Hope everyone is keeping their spirits up. We are not sure but think mia's platelets may be coming down after the Rituxan -- it's about 7 months and she's down from the 300's to 90. I know I know - 90 is like heaven so I'm not moaning, but wonder if it will go down more or whatever. Glory this disease is the pits. Always with you in one way or another although Mia has had a very blessed 7 months.

Hope all our well. Brandi -- take care.
best, Firkins
