I have just confirmed what I have been thinking for a long time now. That is that there is a big link between how well my daughter does at school and her platelet count. Roughly every four months her count goes up for about a month and a half (to just below 30) during this time she isn't particularly tired and her reading is excellent. Four approximately four months in between this her count is arround 16 (give or take bit) and she is so tired it is hard to get her to concentrate and her reading is terrible (you'd think she had no clue at all). Has anyone else noticed a link like this? I'm just a bit worried how this is going to affect her school work in the long run?

I'll be able to answer tomorrow after Ryan's blood work. He had a very hard time in school today and very cranky this evening. I remember back when this started for us thinking that he acted different with a lower count. We'll see tomorrow! He just so happens to be going for his count after 4 weeks.
