My son has been getting hives now for 3 days, could this be related to the ITP?
It has been about 14 days since the IVIg so I do not think it is a reaction to that at this point.

We only ever get hives when having an allergic reaction to something. But that doesn't mean it isn't related to the ITP... Ryan's just never experienced that so I don't know. Not much help, sorry!

Kayla's last drop to 12k was accompanied by hives. 1 1/2 years ago, the Doctor said it wasn't related but I'm suspicious of course;-) Could be a virus she had that triggered the drop or WHO KNOWS;0) this disorder keeps us second guessing ourselves all the time. Good luck!!!!
