Well after about a year of very low counts that have not responded to any treatment, it seems his last course of IVIg has made some seemingly lasting effects (lasting for him). His count came up to the 500k mark, but then the next week he was down to 70k, then to 12k...but this past week he was at 64k...so he may be responding a little better now to the Nplate. I told him that last batch of IVIg was a good batch, lol. I have heard that sometimes a change in the blood/donor pool can help with response, so maybe it was a new batch? Whatever the case...he's enjoying his little pseudo remission.
