My son was diagnosed with ITP on December 6th. Since then he has gotten ivig and winrho and neither have brought up his platlets longer than 2 days.. he has gotten all the way down to a level of 5. Now he has been on steroids for 3 months and whenever they try to taper them off his levels drop again .... I'm just sick of nothing working.. and being in constant fear that his levels are too low....
