Tim's counts today was created by lucidawn
He's at 48k today. His Nplate is at 3 mics per kilo, with the highest dose being 10 per kilo. He's about 75 kilos, so whatever that works out to...what, 25 mics?

The hemonc says typically they rise, then plateau, and then start to fall a bit again and will have to adjust the dose again. So, we'll see.

I havnt been on in forever but I think about tim daily. I'm so glad the nplate seems to be working for him. that poor kid needs a break.

Thanks! Hopefully it will continue to work. We might even be able to get his dental work done. The hemonc said that he can increase the dose long enough to get his counts up into the hundreds while he has his wisdom tooth out and his root canal done, and then bring it back down again to the 30's-40s.

I hope they can, poor guy doesn't need to suffer with tooth pain on top of everything else.

Best wishes for Tim - I hope that the counts continue to rise for him. Not that dental surgery is any fun - but at least it looks like he might be able to get it done, which, in the long run, is probably best if he is having lots of pain.
