My three year old with ITP has just had her pre school boosters on Wednesday. Both her arms are really swollen (one more than the other) and the very swollen one has a big red patch as well. Does anyone know if this is normal for the injections (none of mine have had this reaction before) or has she reacted like this because of ITP?

though it's been many years since my children had their shots, they are 14 and 16 now, and they don't have ITP, I would call the doc. I think any reaction to vaccines is a cause to let the doctor know what's going on.
