Hey there
My three year old was diagnosed about two weeks ago she had a number of 9. They think it was because of the flu vaccine, I know this can take 6 months to a year for her body to hopefully get back to normal. She went up to 38 last week but today has some petechia and bruises she had a fever of 100 I think she caught a cold. Should I be really worried? This is such a up and down roller coaster just never knowing exactly where her numbers are.
Thanks so much
Corrie and Hadley girl

Corrie - it's hard not to worry when it's your child, but many parents have been where you are and it worked out okay. It is definitely a roller coaster and the best thing to do it just take one day at a time. Illnesses can cause counts to drop sometimes so try not to worry if they drop down again.

Please keep us updated. Is her doctor just doing the 'watch and wait' approach?
