I feel like any little thing that happens to my son I want to call the DR. Nose bleed, I call the Dr. New bruises, I call the Dr. Head Bump, I call the DR.

Am I over reacting? Everytime I call she does have me come in and does a blood test. Everytime his count has been lower.

He just fell at school and bumped heads with another child. The school knows about his situation so they called us right away to come pick him up since he is also complaining about a headache. So now I have another call into the Dr because how am I to know if this is seriuos or not??

How often do you call? Ive only been dealing with this since late September so I'm new to ITP.

Whenever in doubt..call! You will feel better you won't wonder what if and you won't be up all night asking yourself, should I of called?? This is very new to you, eventually you will be more comfortable and call much less (if ever)..but it never hurts to call and be safe
