Hi, my son (29 months) was just diagnosed this Friday with ATP. His count was 11 at the lowest and we did a round of ITIP (I believe) and they rose to 25. We are devastated as any newly diagnosed person. I'm glad to have found this group to help with our journey.

Hi - I'm so sorry about your son and I hope his is an acute case! Sounds like he may have had IVIg?

Why not post this in the children section or the adult general or treatment section where more people will see it - this section is for ideas/complaints/whatever about the forum.

Best wishes to your son and his parents too!
Melinda

Oh no - no ooops needed - it's confusing when coming to a new site - I just mentioned it to you because I want you to get responses!!

We were just blessed with a grandson not long ago - even though I have ITP I can't imagine what a parent would be going through hearing that. My heart goes out to you!
