No we are not because of the wind direction and we are some distance away. However we are getting loads of evacuees (exact # not known at the moment) West Jet are evacuating thousands from the work camps north of Fort Mc. (promo for West Jet - great company) The whole situation is horrendous - nearly 90,000 people evacuated.

Glad you are doing well Christine - did not realize that horrible fire was in your area. This fire goes beyond what the mind can comprehend - my heart goes out to those devastated by this tragedy.

We've been watching the news reports out of Fort Mac. Can't believe the devastation! There are reports that BC is fighting 85 wild fires and there is one at the border of Manitoba and Ontario. A lot of people stepping up to the plate to help!

A friend of Steven's lives in Florida and he is getting some of the smoke from there.
