Woke up to snow on the roof - now, 7.30am, it is 34° and snowing. CRAZY!
They said we wouldn't have a hard frost, hope they were right because I wasn't about to go out and cover flowers last evening in the rain.

The kicker - supposedly Sunday should be a high of 80°

I'd rather be melting than freezing - although with the melting I do not want humidity. But grandkids are here so here we will stay, nothing beats grandkids!

I want snow. Or rain, fog, clouds, anything resembling moisture. The humidity level in the Puget Sound area is under 20% right now, and I feel dessicated. I'm also sick of summer, especially the sun.

At least this weather means I may be able to see the aurora borealis tonight.

Aoi - I am in Grays Harbor and we just aren't used to this much sunshine - I prefer our usual cool and moist as well

Calgary got snow twice earlier this week! I so hope it doesn't hit here until just before Christmas! Then it can go away again.

Yes we had snow and ice in Calgary - the city looks like a warzone. The Emergency Operations centre was opened (first time since the flood). People are still without power.
I was sitting in my garden Sun afternoon and it was 25 above. Monday it was minus 2 (the day I had to go to the hospital to pick up my Nplate!!) and the garden was a mess.
It is supposed to be nice this weekend so I will have a lot of clearing up to do - broken tree limbs, finding veggies frozen etc etc etc. As we say in the Prairies - this is "Next year Country" and things will be better!! :)

We did the Run or Dye today Hamilton Ontario rain and cool! Good news is no snow for a while here!

Saw some photos from Calgary, not good at all. Hope electricity is back again for everyone.

I really detest humidity, will take dry itchy skin any day over clammy wet sweaty body & clothes. Did I mention, I detest humidity?
