I realize Clapton is/was very popular. I've owned most of what he's done over the years...from 1963 Yardbirds onward. I've played/sung a lot of his popular stuff over the years (over and over and over again). I just don't care for him much, never have. I tend to prefer the original versions of some of the songs Clapton made popular; like JJ Cale's original version of 'Cocaine' (not to be confused with Cash's or Browne's songs by the same title). Or Marley's original 'I Shot The Sheriff', or any Robert Johnson song done by anyone other than Clapton.>>>"I think you are the only person! Have you ever listened to Backless? It's really blusey, one of my favorites."

I went to concerts in Hyde Park, Isle of Wight (before they headed to Glastonbury) Where you could get "high" on the clouds of second hand smoke from "weed". Or what is the correct word, if there is one, of today? I know I am dating myself. Trying to be more sedate now - it's hard!!!
