I am in the process of changing passwords after a hacking attempt on my computer. Any info on the best way to change my PDSA login password would be appreciated. Here in Scotland I get into all the Animal Vet sites unless very careful. Derek

Did you try going to the login page and clicking on "lost your password". I'm guessing that will give you the option of changing your password.

Many thanks for the information Sem. I did try that but it then says it will send me a new password to access the site. I really want to put I my own memorable password as I have so many I have to keep a small notebook to remember them. I am trying to cut down on the number of passwords and change them frequently. Again many thanks for the suggestion. DerekP

Derek would it then allow you to change to a password you wanted instead of the one it gives you?

Yeah, what Melinda said.

Normally after a company sends you their new password they allow you to change that password to whatever you want after you've verified that you received the automated password at your personal email address.

The extra step of receiving an automated password at your personal email address makes it that much harder for anyone who might know your pdsa password to just login to your account and change your password. They can't do that without also having access to your personal email account as well.

Success at last. I did it by going through the password they gave me and then changed it via my profile. I guess I should just have gone into my profile in the first place ( so I shall just hide and resist saying I shall now keep a low pr...le ). But It does at least you can get a password you wish even if you do forget your password in the first place. Derek
