I'm on the second floor walk up a set of wooden stair to a wooden deck with one more deck above me! Spiders like wooden stairs. They like to build webs where I walk and drop down and freak me out!

More than 2 legs and you no live inside or outside of my house!

The death by starch thing would take too long maybe it work on my mouse problem! Since I can't catch him and make him a pet!

I have spider spray and spider traps. I'm ready to get the Borax out too. I'm not going to stop feeling paranoid unless I call an exterminator, but I hate those chemicals in the house.

Centipedes are pretty nasty, Melinda. I've only ever seen one in this house. Heebeejeebees.

I don't mind the Daddy Longlegs as much. I can kill those with no problem. When I saw the second wolf spider in the bathroom the other night, I couldn't bring myself to squash it. I put a glass candle holder on top of it and taped a big sign to the bathroom door that said "Beware of very large spider". My husband got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and got rid of it. I knew someone would!

When we lived in Tx and I saw a bug that I didn't like, I put a glass on them until my husband got home. He's used to my bug traps.

Jeffrey, can't say I ever saw a spider the size of a Focus. You're lucky he didn't eat you.

Do you guys get itchy when you talk about bugs? I can't scratch myself fast enough right now.

Spiders don't bother me; it's those things that Jeffrey killed with his lawn mower that I can't stand!

Julia - if it's on the wall and I'm the only one home, I have no choice but to kill it too. If it's on the floor, I can trap it.

One day I was at work and got an emergency call from my daughter who lives in hyattsville, md. So there I am in Massachusetts and she is on the phone "mom there's a huge spider in my garage"! Lol I was so relieved that was all it was. I ended up staying on the phone with her while she got a can of raid and sprayed it.

Too funny, Dru! My kids called me at work one day about a big spider. I couldn't leave, but my co-workers live in my neighborhood and normally left earlier than I did. They went to my house to rescue the kids, but couldn't find it. I always tease my kids now that I am going to call them at work with some of the silly things they called me about. They'd flip out!
