This is probably quite a good resource, but I think its out of date because it defines severity based on counts and not symptoms. Also (for me anyway) anything that makes me focus on counts is a bad thing, and I can't remember a person here yet who managed to recognise a useful pattern to them! :P

I agree, but some people are gung-ho to find a pattern no matter what. They have a need to keep track and chart, maybe so they feel some control. I suppose it is helpful to track counts during and after treatments.

Unfortunately, I am one of those people that likes to track everything, but this goes along with being a type a personality ( complete control freak!) I love charts, graphs and other graphic organizers so I think I will love the app!

I like to track it all too even though it doesn't really make any sense. I'm type A too, need some sense of control. I will try the app too, thanks Sandi for posting about it.

Might be worth it just so you can have a record of your last few counts. Everyone either has an iPod or an Iphone saves you trying to remember anything!

I have been using this app for a while now & love the graph showing counts. When my number dropped low, my doctor showed me his graph on his computer, but mine was much better on the app & I just had to show him mine! You can also put appointments on the calendar & track treatments as well as symptoms & exercise.

Since I am a statistical freak, I've been loving this app! I used to have my counts in papers but now just enter them in and voila a handy dandy graph appears! Since I've been switching meds and doseages it's been helpful to track how that effects my counts!

+1 on both of these statements. I stopped being overly concerned with counts awhile back.
I do keep track of counts/treatments in a digital log, but only to have a record over the years for reference.
However, it is symptoms that I look at for daily life.
No matter; If I wanted a graph, I'd use Excel. I'm not hipster enough to buy an Apple product. :)

Check to see if your doctor's office or clinic uses MyChart or another online application that gives you (limited) access to your medical chart.

I love MyChart because it directly posts all of my test results within a few days of having them done. Every once and awhile, for giggles, I look at the line graph of my platelet results. It tells me nothing, I haven't been able to decipher a pattern but it's fun to look at!

Ha ha! I do behavior analysis with my students and there usually are patterns that you see within the graphs. However, my itp graph is all over the place! The only thing I see that is my counts were best during weeks with both cyclosporine and nplate

I believe this is a good idea to keep track of all your medical reports e.g count, medicines, diet. It will definitely help to check if there is any specific time interval when things go better or worse or if there is any specific diet or medicine that make any positive/negative feffect for future referenc.
