Hello All: I'm definitely a TYPE A. How about you? I don't feel like i am stressed out and actally I wake up everyday with a smile on my face. Just for fun i'll list a couple of my personality traits:

goal oriented, over achiever, tend to hold things in, likes to stay busy..

Just wondering if most of you all see yourself as TYPE A v TYPE B and maybe if I learn how to slow down it may help my ITP (count 34k - went to Beaver Creek but did not ski just had an uncontrollable nose bleed )

Type A and Type B personality theory
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Type A and Type B personality theory is a personality type theory that describes a pattern of behaviors that were once considered to be a risk factor for coronary heart disease. Since its inception in the 1950s, the theory has been widely criticized for its scientific shortcomings. It nonetheless persists in the form of pop psychology within the general population.

Type A individuals can be described as impatient, time-conscious, concerned about their status, highly competitive, ambitious, business-like, aggressive, having difficulty relaxing; and are sometimes disliked by individuals with Type B personalities for the way that they're always rushing[citation needed]. They are often high-achieving workaholics who multi-task, drive themselves with deadlines, and are unhappy about delays. Because of these characteristics, Type A individuals are often described as "stress junkies."

Type B individuals, in contrast, are described as patient, relaxed, and easy-going, generally lacking any sense of urgency. Because of these characteristics, Type B individuals are often described as apathetic and disengaged. There is also a Type AB mixed profile for people who cannot be clearly categorized.

In his 1996 book, Type A Behavior: Its Diagnosis and Treatment, Meyer Friedman suggests that Type A behavior is expressed in three major symptoms. One of these symptoms is believed to be covert and therefore less observable, whereas the other two are more overt.

I used to be type A. Through practise, Tai Chi and not sweating the small stuff I have become type B- bordering on C!!! It has done nothing for my platelet counts but I'm a lot happier.

I'm definately type A, except for the concerned about their status part. The newest, biggest, best thing doesn't matter to me and I'm glad for that!
My husband is 1000% tpye B. It does cause problems sometimes!

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
