Mine are all indoors yet (I have them all on the bay window over my kitchen sink.). It is not warm enough here to plant outside yet. I have a few tomato plants that have just started, a bunch of flowers (I don't remember what I planted...) and a bunch of green bean plants that have sprouted and are getting big. So far though I have some strawberries that haven't done much, red peppers that haven't sprouted at all yet and a bunch of other kinds of tomatoes that I am waiting to see what will happen. This is my first time starting anything from seed, so if anything turns out I will be happy. :-)

After the 16" of snow the other day, and a lot still on the ground, we are in for more snow starting later today through tomorrow morning :S Time will tell if the weather guessers are right or not.

I'm jealous too of those who can plant outside now or who have started seeds inside.

My peppers are now up and the only thing I needed to replant was a yellow grape tomato. The red grape tomatoes are much more tasty though anyway. My favorite!!!!

I started 2 trays of flower seeds yesterday and even started digging the sod out for my new garden area. I have to get all the heavy work under way before my surgery at the end of April(yuck). We don't plant outside until May long weekend.

so, how's everyone's gardens doing? We've had green beans, snap peas, lettuce, onions, cukes, yellow squash and zucchini so far. Yummy! Corn looks good and we should have tomatoes any day now! Can't wait!

My garden is coming along great considering the poor start to the season. I thought I had lost some of my shrubs and Hostas - well they decided to show life just 2 weeks ago - I had bought more Hostas to replace the ones I "thought" I had lost, now I have a host of hostas
We are eating strawberries every day plus freezing them, also rhubarb(the strawberry kind), beans, swiss chard and it won't be long before my beans will be ready.
The flowers are doing great, If I could work out how to put a pic on this forum I will.
Enjoy your gardens because "to create a beautiful garden is to make a better world"

I didn't mention my flowers! Silly me. I thought the marigolds were gonna not make it, but they are slowly recovering. Not sure what happened, but my petunias aren't making it. It's like something is eating them. The plants are just kinda disappearing. Not dieing from lack of water or anything like that, just kinda disappearing! It's weird, never saw anything like it before. My sunflowers are amazing! doing great.

It could be ants decimating your flowers. I got up one morning and found my marigolds and petunias in one part of the garden had disappeared - it could also be deer or gophers (depending on where you live. I think it has been a bade year all round for the garden. C :)

ants huh? We do have an unusual amount of them this year. I'll have to check into that. Thanks!

I don't know where you live but here in W Canada we have a store called Lee Valley that sells copper mesh to put round plants to distract slugs ( they electrocute themselves) Then it is safe for birds to eat them. I have used it for years and haven't had a slug problem round vulnerable plants (eg. Hostas) Crushed eggshells also work well. Lee Valley stores are on the internet and you ,may be able to order some mesh through their web site. Good luck. C
