Really bad cramps and heavy bleeding was created by amberyard
My cramps have gotten worse with the I.T.P. Did know what other women due to help this. Over the counter pain med's don't touch it. I'm not on birth control and wanted to know what other women take for that also?

Thanks for all the input...

Hey, I am a 14 year old girl and I know exactly what you are talking about! I was a chronic ITP patient but I am now thankfully in remission!

When I had ITP my periods were so heavy! It was so horrible! My doctor prescribed me on a drug called tranexamic acid which you only take for the first three days of your period and it reduces the heavy bleeding so much! It also reduced the cramping as well! I would recommend you talk to your doctor about it!

I hope this helped!, xx

Amber,

I was experiencing extremely heavy periods that lasted 10 days when I was first diagnosed. I am on birth control pills now and they are a lifesaver. However, the generic did not work as well so the doctor prescribed the brand name.
