i was diagnosed last june 1 2012 of itp with the count of 5, roller coaster ride, Ive been ok for 2 months when I go to my home country -philippines, but the saddest thing there are no available medicine n Philippines... Now im back here in Dubai, and my platelet went back again to 5, I have bleeding in gums, sometimes in nose, out of desperation one guy the cashier form the hospital told me to try honey+ black seed oil and garlic, he gave me one person to arrange it fo me, one arab guy came and sold me this, the taste was horrible now Im taking one spoon in a day with empty stomach, I will do my cbc on thurs and if I dont have any increase with my count I will stop the honey + black seed+ ginger.

ITP makes me to stop dreaming, makes my life horrible all the money which Im earning just go out of my medicine without insurance I dont know how I can go through my life with this.... Just praying everyday....

I tried revolade, but it seems not workin on me now.

Dont know what to do, I feel desperate.... Why there is no cure with us???

Kent - the sad truth is that there are many, many illnesses that do not have a cure, and ITP is just one of them. There are remissions though, but you might just need to find the treatment that will get you to that point. I'm not familiar with the treatments that might be available to you, so I can't really help you there. You need to find yourself a good doctor.

Don't stop dreaming. Don't let ITP take away your life. You can still walk, talk, see, hear and experience everything the world has to offer. There is always hope.
