One year Aniversary was created by srunge
Today is the one year anniversary of Emmy being diagnosed with ITP, and I am happy to say that she is at 214K! It's been one heck of a roller coaster ride, and we've tried many different medications, but the one that has given her this remission was the Rituxin. It's been 6 weeks since her last infusion. We are so thankful!
Wishing you all the best!

Hi Emmy,
Good We are happy for You. My daughter Franny sitting here would write this but the PC has been acting up and We want to post so I am posting for Fran ((10) years soccer player. Fran has just finished four weelky retuxmab treatments ending on the 26 October wit low number of 16. Doc says it may have been a bad test due to couglation. Tommorow we will get the results of todays blood test we pray the number is enough to allow Fran back on the field to start winter practice season here in Hawaii. We will post on discussion for teens tommorow. Aloha from Ed (frans dad and Franny

Congrats! Those are great counts. I hope it's a long remission and I hope that Franny has equally good results.

Just a quick update, Emmy is still doing well about 10 weeks after her last infusion of Rituxan she is at 211K and all other blood is perfect. I can't believe the relief I feel! Though I'm still not going to get too excited yet...

I've been thinking a lot about Franny and Ed, I haven't seen an update after her Rituxan treatments. Does anyone have any info. I pray it is going well for her too.

Happy holidays to all! We'll enjoy this one much more this year :)
