Does anyone know how long some of the effects of Prednisone stay with you after you stop taking it. It's been two weeks and I still feel a little shaky and my sense of taste is still not right - just not how I used to feel. Anyone know?

I surely am no expert, but I'm thinking it may have something to do with what dose you were on and for how long you were on it. For me it took about 2 weeks to get any relief at all. It will eventually come!

It can take a few months depending on the dose and how long you were on it, as Gretchen said.

Personally, months. I was on prednisone for about 2.5 months (ending mid june) and I'm FINALLY starting to feel better! Also depends upon whether or not the doc took you off too fast. Have a hunch, mine rushed the process. Oh well! This whole experience is teaching me patience! That and it helped appreciate family, friends and my dogs even more.
