Homeopathy as a Treatment option was created by sushpop
Hi All,

Have anybody ever considered Homeopathy as a treatment option? Any experience?

We are in a process of consulting one for my wife.

Homeopathy has absolutely no scientific evidence that it cures or treats anything. It probably won't hurt her because the so-called "treatments" contain infinitesimally dilute quantities of the product that is supposed to treat the condition.

I may be prejudiced here because a close friend died from breast cancer because she stopped her chemo in favor of homeopathic treatment.

Personally, I believe it's pure quackery.

Well if April sees this you will find yourself with a very long post to read, or if freckles sees this you will get a very snide nasty post to read.

Tad Moody I am so sorry about your friend, may she rest in peace.

sushpop I'd go to the Natural Treatment section of the old board and do a search for posts by April and read. This would be one to start with:

Good luck to your wife!

Using it with my son right now. Have seen good things with him but it can take a week to notice some changes. Getting him tested today. Based on his how he's looked in the past I'd say we've finally hit above 5 in the past week. Natural medicine will always take longer to heal because it focuses on healing the body from the inside out and not fixing symptoms, but fixing the cause.

Yeah, I know, it can take a while before it start showing results. We've started with the homeopathy treatment, and the status so far is she is no longer taking prednisone which I think is the biggest plus, so, all the side effects related to it(which were horrible than actual low platelets) have also vanished. Count is kind of stable @ 50K range. Now keeping our fingers crossed to get it up.

Yay! So glad to hear she's doing well. We are nearing the end of our son's treatment as well. His counts are in normal range and a wonderful side effect of the homeopathy has been his food allergies are almost gone! He's able to eat so much more then he ever could now. Thanks for letting others know how your wife is doing! Wishing you and her continued success. Homeopathy DOES work!
