just gave birth with platelet count of 24 was created by julissajimenez
I am now with a beautiful 2 week old and my hematologist wants to start RITUXIMAB right away as my count has not come back up since I delivered even though I have been on steroids (Prednisone 40 mg daily). I feel like it is too soon after pregnancy and asked him to wait until next week and lets see where the count is at that time. I appreciate any thoughts or input. I think the stress of pregnancy may be playing a factor and would like to wait.

Congratulations! :)
Sorry, I can't offer much advice, pregnancy brought my counts up.
Gotta go, that's my little one calling.
