I'm about to start Promacta and my Hemo Doc sez the meds will come from some sort of distributor or supplier or specialty pharmacy..... not from the manufacturing source. For those of you currently using Promacta, Who are your suppliers, any problems, and how are the meds delivered? Where or how are the invoices handled? Thanx

I took Promacta last year for three months. After approval from Promacta cares and my insurance company, a specialty pharmacy agent telephoned me. I told them I wanted to order a month's supply of Promacta. They asked for my credit card number and I was billed a co-pay of $60.00. Promacta was delivered to my home via UPS or Fedex. No problem with that. Unfortunately I did not respond to Promacta but hopefully you will have some great results.

I get my Promacta script from the Walgreens pharmacy inside The James Cancer Hospital.
It's all part of the Promacta Cares program.
I was quite impressed at how easy this has been once you are part of the program. I call a few days before I'm out of med, pay the co-pay, and they deliver my prescription. I also pay $60 a month co-pay...but that beats the just under $8.000 cost of a months script.
Now if the stuff would just work a little better.
