Since taking nplate weekly injection, I’m experiencing extreme pain in my left shoulder. I see this is a ‘side effect’ of this drug but wondered whether anyone else has had this?

It could be. I would talk to your hemo. Even if it isn't from the nplate, sounds like something that needs to be checked out.

Bone pain is a common side effect of Romiplostim, shoulder pain is also listed but under uncommon. I had pain in my left clavicle when I was on it. GP could find nothing wrong with me and concluded it was a side effect. Once I stopped taking it the pain disappeared. Now on Eltrombopag and have not experienced the same problem again.
My pain was not exctreme, more a niggle. I agree with b2h it needs checking out.
