I wonder if my doctor would read this. She prescribed 10 mg/ 7.5 mg alternate days for one month, then is going straight to 7.5 daily. She won't listen to me.

  • Diagnosed in 2000, at 59, after being on moderately high doses of NSAIDs for arthritis. Splenectomy and rituxan both failed (2004). Did well on prednisone till summer 2018--then terrible reactions. Promacta since 11-19.

I think all doctors should read it Sandi but I suspect most won’t.
Karen one of the main reasons I posted it was because of it offers so many points of reference to steroid tapering and adrenal insufficiency

Oh--I see now that you posted the article, Mrsb04. I appreciate very much everything I can read about this. My hematologist might not read it, but my endocrinologist is more open.
