Hi,
Getting ivig for 5,000 platelet count. Dr gave me option 1vs2 days. Thoughts.
I am thinking one.

He wants me to do dEx. burst. I'm thinking yes. Thoughts.

Bone marrow bx back within a week. Will keep doing promacta 75. All drs are pushing rituxin pretty soon. Never did big nplate trial but do I care?

Oh pooh. Here it was looking like 75 mg Promacta was contributing last week. Blah.
Looking over your IVIG summary post, all the lengths look similar (excluding 7 wk one). Didn't you do an IVIG without Dex and it lasted much shorter? Half the time? The list is 16, 15, 14, 18 days.

It depends on your IVIG response. You don't want to get too high, but definitely need to get to a safe level. 75mg Promacta at the same is worrisome for me, but I have a good IVIG response normally.

Thx for your reply. I usually get to over 100 with the one day ivig. Left hospital obs unit so I'm stickin w 1 day and a 40 mg dex burst for 4 days.
I hope you are getting stability. It is crazy what you are going through!
