The one time I had IVIG my WBC went up just bit, but stayed well within the high limit. Sorry, that's the only data point I have...

I have had 3 courses of IVIG, my WBC was always normal both before and after. I found this when searching on IVIG and white cells. Evidently the IVIG is telling you something. ** "Immunoglobulins (Ig) are glycoprotein molecules that function as antibodies. During an immune response, these antibodies, which are present in the bloodstream, detect and bind to antigens (foreign substances that are capable of inducing immune responses). Examples of antigens include bacteria, viruses, mold spores, dust mites, animal dander, and fungi. Once the antibodies attach to the antigen, white blood cells are stimulated to destroy the antigen. Since antibodies are present in the bloodstream, they are considered part of the humoral immune system." ** What I got from this read is your body gears up WBC to fight whatever antigen the IVIG has found to bind to.

  • For 7 months, platelets crashed (as low as 1,000) every 10 days between IVIG treatments. I got cured 10/2017 after taking parasite destroying medicine and Rife US tx.

That is so interesting because my WBC seem to have gone down. Not sure if it is IVIG related but have asked that question to the doctors.
