RETUXAN.. The Aftermath of Side Effects was created by Julier
I had 4 treatments of Retuxan in January, no real problems with infusion. However here we are three months later and I'm seeing some changes rather quickly. I developed a severe burning cessation in mouth as well as dry, cracked lips and a cyst on my jaw line. The pain was unimaginable. This lasted 12 days before calming but has not gone away. I have noticed curls in my hair? I have always had straight hair. My platelets had dropped to 10 prior to treatment and rose to 108 after. They are now falling again slowly. Anyone else have these issues?

Those are not symptoms I have heard of months after Rituxan treatment.
There are salivary glands on your jaw line. Could the cyst be related to that?
There is actually a condition called "burning mouth syndrome", which has many possible causes -- well worth googling.
Other autoimmune conditions are worth considering: when one has an AI condition, other AI conditions are more likely.
One of these is Sjogren's syndrome, and is worth googling.
